Tracklist:
01. Safe Below The Radar

Trophies Of Dahmer, a band formed out of the remnants of other Hertfordshire metal bands in the summer of 08' locked themselves away writing new fresh material hoping to come back into 2009 with real impact. They succeeded in writing a well written varied set, written with the inspirations musically they had as a band which they decided to play until the end of march 09'. At this point the band sat down and really thought about the songs they had created and decided they would like to write a new set, taking all the strengths of the first set and new inspirations they had derived from gigging and writing. The end of march through april the band started writing, taking every beat every riff into consideration until they where all happy with the end result. They went into the prestigious EAS studios in Milton Keynes and recorded their first song from the upcoming EP "Cherished Waves"

At this moment in time, Trophies Of Dahmer are still writing their EP and hope to record in within a few months. 2009 looks to be a defining year for Trophies.

Each of us goes through life seeking and searching for that one perfect fit, that thing that will fill the void. Many try to substitute other things, money, drugs, careers, relationships, fame. Many seek fulfillment through mystical, religious or occult practices. But these things, however attractive they seem, cannot truly satisfy that inner longing. We believe that we have found the one thing that we're looking for, and that is the music that we create! I doubt you will be able to find another band who are so passionate about their music and what it represents as Fill The Void! As it stands now the band are currently writing new material for the up and coming summer, when they will be touring the UK playing as many shows as possible. Not only that they are going back in the studio to finish off the long awaited demo and sort out any merch, so please keep your eyes and ears on the look out so the band that will deliver all that they have promised! kao kyen was formed in late 2001, under the name dying inside. the founding members consisted of mike waters on vox, dean kirby on bass, chris rosenthal on guitar, and caleb williams on drums. shortly after the formation of the band, mike quit singing for the band, so the band was forced to find a new vocalist.

along kao's search for a new vocalist, they recruited chris's longtime friend ryan malony on second guitar. shortly after, they found a new vocalist--current earthen vocalist luke whitacre. the band was now complete, and it was time to record the first kao kyen cd.

while kao was recording their first cd, simply entitled 1, they decided to part ways with bassist dean kirby. at the time, they were recording with current earthen bassist lance mccurdy, and asked him to fill in as the new bassist. once again, the line-up was complete.

after the release of 1 in fall of 2002, kao kyen was booked on many shows with bands such as norma jean, living sacrifice, coalesce, dead to fall, sinai beach, as well as numerous local acts. after about half-a-year of playing with kao kyen, luke and lance decided to quit to pursue their new band earthen. now, yet again, the band was left to find new members.

along the band's search for new members, chris remembered friends adam niederhauser and brandon bamesberger of a previous band called zariah. so chris called them up and asked them to come audition. they did, and were asked to join the band. they then recorded their follow-up to 1, entitled 2, with that line-up. shortly after, drummer caleb williams decided he wanted to part ways with kao kyen. after he left, they posted on countless message boards and fliers until they received an email from one ryan drake. they auditioned him, decided he was what they were looking for, and now, yet again, the line-up is finally complete.

The Red Death - Demo (2003)

Melodic Death Metal/Deathcore band from USA [Bath, New York]
Tracklist:
01. Between Heaven and Guts
02. Intoxications of Divinity
03. Reflections on Sentient Biologicals

The Red Death, named after Edgar Allen Poe’s short story “The Masque of The Red Death”, formed in late fall/early winter of 2002 in Bath, NY (80 miles south of Rochester, NY) with the intent of writing thrash metal influenced songs with a heavier American hardcore vibe to them.

Good friends and former band mates Joshua Williammee, Graham Mitchell, and Paul Hamblin got together with two other musicians from the area to write and record a three-song demo CD, which was released in early 2003. It was well received locally but the band wanted to push their talents further and tour. In order to do that Bryan Van Gelder (original guitarist) left the band as he wished to pursue an education and Nate Golia, friend of the band, came in to pinch hit and pick up where Bryan left off.

The band recorded another four-song demo CD, embarked on a few short tours, and played a number of shows in the Upstate New York region, thus building a small fan base and gaining a foothold as a relevant act in local metal/hardcore communities.

The Red Death continued growing with maturity to their songwriting and recorded a six-song Cdep entitled “Aftertaste of the Emaciated” which was released in July of 2004 on a small independent label. Around this time the band went through several temporary bass players before long time chum, Dominic Mastronunzio (ex-Shadows and the Silence), offered to move back to NY and play bass for them. The Red Death, in support of the then-new EP, gained more support locally and set off on two separate three-week tours (one with NJ based With Resistance, the other with NC metalcore outfit Bloodjinn) and was lucky enough to catch the attention of Metal Blade Records.

With a long term recording contract and extensive touring on the horizon, Nate felt that he wanted to pursue other things in life and left the band. After a short search by the band Aaron Conti, formerly of brother band If Hope Dies, was then added to the roster to bring The Red Death to their current lineup consisting of Paul Hamblin, Josh Williammee, Graham Mitchell, Dominic Mastronunzio, and Aaron Conti.

The newly solidified band then headed into the studio with Jason “Jocko” Randall (who had recorded and produced the previous EP “Aftertaste of the Emaciated”) to record their debut Metal Blade full-length entitled “External Frames of Reference”.

If you were to ask “What’s next in store for The Red Death?” the answer would be, “Tour non-stop, continue writing thrash influenced metalcore, make friends, have fun and engage in tom-foolery, and most importantly STAY GRIM.”

Look for The Red Death in your local record stores and to be playing in your local venues for a long time to come.

Founded in the brutally cold and boring winter of 2005 in the Albany, NY area as an artifice of Brutal Metal within an area saturated with Yuppies, Guidos and myspace comb-overs and bands that sound like 14 year old girls with a karaoke machine. Our ideology is to make a punishing and creative band combining complexities with extremities heavily influenced by our native U.S. and particularly New York Death and Gore metal br0z, along with the speed and black metal of Europe. Overall i think the sound we are trying to achieve is, what would Biggie Smalls sound like in a blender?! Throughout the duration of ISRAFEL members have come and gone due to gas prices and masterbation habits.. minor setbacks will never hold us down from our goal of torturing humanity. We will continue on and are now stronger than ever with a full line-up and we're currently in the process of finding a record label to work with and recording a full album entitled CHAINSAW GYNECOLOGY which will be out by JUNE 2009 AT THE LATEST. So now i ask you to join us as we set out on this rampage with chainsaws to give home made abortions, destroy week-willed whores in ugg boots and squeeze fresh lemonade for senior citizens on the daily... Thank you all for listening to our music and being so supportive of us over the years. We hope that you all continue to enjoy us and if you don't... we'll take every male in your family and split their skulls with axes and make the women in your family cook them into a delicious Hamburger Helper meal with potatoes and collard greens. Be on the lookout in a city near you... ISRAFEL, DEVOURING ALL! Israfel has shared the stage with: Skinless, Ligeia, Vital Remains, All That Remains, Full Blown Chaos, Green Carnation, Beyond the Embrace, Misery Index, Held Under, Organ Harvest, Aletheian, Invocation of Nehek, Since the Flood, Wasteform, One Dead Three Wounded, Last Perfection, Porphyria, Agnosia, CDC, Crimson Mask, Forlorn Hope, Black my Heart, Anterrabae, The Sawtooth Grin, Psyopus, Mucopus, Brick by Brick .. and many more. Since their formation in late 2005, Essex based Postmortem Promises have continually striven to grow, musically, lyrically and in attitude. After attracting a surprising amount of attention in the UK underground metal scene with their first, three track EP ‘We Play Weddings’ they were quickly signed to Thirty Days of Night records, alongside UK giants Bring me the Horizon. A self titled five track EP was recorded and released through TDON in 2006, which continued to enforce PMP’s unique sound through fusing hardcore and metal elements.

Postmortem Promises spent the next few years playing over two hundred shows with bands such as The Red Chord, Despised Icon and Suicide Silence, all the while earning themselves a greater international fan base by exposing those overseas to their sound through websites such as MySpace and Facebook.

It was in 2008 when PMP made their biggest breakthrough so far by signing with established UK metal label, Siege of Amida Records. This gave them all that they needed to power forward and write and record their ten track debut full length ‘On Broken Foundations’. With crushing breakdowns, huge vocal lines and hardcore breaks, this is an album which fully encompasses the past four years of PMP’s growth. This is not to say that the band haven’t evolved, with plenty of groove and even some lead lines being thrown into the mix also, this is an album with real concept.

Now, with some new members and a new album under their belts, Postmortem Promises are ready to strive once again for bigger things...

Having already made a name for them selves in Alaska, Here Among Wolves is ready to take it to the rest of the world. With their self titled EP out in July 2007 Here Among Wolves has captured the sound that defines them. Its more than just music that drives them, more than life on the road or being on stage. They are driven by a call on their lives to be a light in a dark scene. In a scene where rebellion and anarchy are praised Here Among Wolves shines with a positive message of life for the lost.

Here Among Wolves came together in late 2005 with a desire to impact the music scene they where a part of. After going through several member changes they have landed a rock solid line up. The newest and youngest member, vocalist Chad Stroh. Joining in the spring of 2007 just before the recording of their self titled EP. Chad brought just what the band was looking for. On bass Nick delivers the low end to give their sound the depth and meat that makes metal what it is. While guitarists Joe and Mikey "Krank" out the brutal riffs, leaving the mosh pit, and your ears wanting more. All of this is tied together by the backbone of any band, the drummer Rob. Here Among Wolves brings to the table what listeners, crowds, fans, and audiences are looking for. Heavy, catchy, structured music that will capture you and leave you wanting more. They are being sent out like sheep among wolves (Matthew 10:16).

10. Bonus Track

Their debut album, "Embrace the Eternal", showed a change in style as Embodyment added elements of metalcore to their death metal sound (Embrace the Eternal is one of the earliest deathcore records). "Embrace the Eternal" featured re-makes of the songs "Golgotha" and "Religious Infamy", which were originally from their demos, as well as guest vocals by Bruce Fitzhugh, vocalist for seminal Christian metal band Living Sacrifice.

After the departure of Kris McCaddon on vocals, Embodyment welcomed Sean Corbray as vocalist and recorded "''The Narrow Scope of Things''", released in 2000. This album was the band's first step away from any of the heavier metal subgenres. Instead, their sound on the album was adjusted to alternative metal with hard rock influences and was the first album to feature actual singing and some screamed vocal parts rather than any form of death vocals.

Embodyment next released Hold Your Breath in 2001, an album which saw the removal of all screamed vocals and yet more slight shift away from the remaining metal influence there had been on "The Narrow Scope of Things". Their last album, "''Songs for the Living''", released under in 2002, completed the band's transition to alternative/indie rock and was originally made as an industry demo meant to get the band signed to a major label.

Embodyment later disbanded in early 2004 to the disappointment of loyal fans.

Andrew Godwin, Mark Garza and Kris McCaddon have finally resurfaced with a new band

Death Metal band from USA [Arlington, Texas]
Tracklist:
01. Satan's Mendacity

Embodyment started out as a death metal band known as Supplication, with the lineup of Andrew Godwin on lead guitars, Jason Lindquist on vocals, Kevin Donnini on bass, and Jason Donnini on drums. However, quickly thereafter, Jason Domini quit the band and ran away from home. Lindquist knew Mark Garza from school and asked him to play drums. Garza joined the band with the stipulation that his friend Taylor Smith joined the band on rhythm guitars and vocals. After recording their debut demo, Persistent Sin, the band changed their name to Embodyment. Smith would leave the band with Kris McCaddon joining on as vocalist.

The band had the opportunity to play with bands such as Living Sacrifice, P.O.D., No Innocent Victim, Zao, and Focal Point by this time. The band had recorded and released their second demo known as Corrosion of the Flesh. A self-titled demo would be released soon thereafter. Jason Stinson of Overcome showed Brandon Ebel of Tooth & Nail Records the band's demo, which led to their signing.

They signed to Solid State Records in 1997 for their debut album, Embrace the Eternal, where they switched to a deathcore style. The album contains mostly new material but also new versions of a couple of the old demos. Solid State later distributed a collection of the early Embodyment death metal demos titled [1993-1996] in addition to releasing a previously unreleased track by the band called “Halo of Winter” on the label’s compilation album, “This Is Solid State Vol. I”.

Raise them and Eat Them - Chapter #1 The Omnipotent Failure (Demo/2004)

Math Metal/Noisecore/Metalcore band from Canada [Toronto, Ontario]
Tracklist:
01. Chapter #1 The Omnipotent Failure
02. The Priest

The origin of Raise Them and Eat Them, as an idea, could have begun as early as 2002 (as some sources claim). But the band didn’t actually come together until January of 2004. The initial line-up featured Ken Galbraith on bass and vocals, his brother Jay Galbraith on drums and Nathan Obonsawin on guitar. This was a sort of Toronto side-project idea for the band members, after Jay and Ken broke up Katja and Nathan had quit Arkata. Additionally, Jay had never played drums in any band before, but he learned so quickly that by their first show, no one would have guessed. The line-up was stabilized in early spring when Aaron Marchildon became the official vocalist.
