Blast Beats. Breakdowns. Deep Vocals...That's the easiest way to describe Misericordiam. The band formed in late 2004 and features ex members of Without Prayer. They played their first show on February 12th, 2005. They are easily one of the fastest and heaviest bands Las Vegas has to offer. Misericordiam is more along the lines of "deathmetalcore" and have built a big following in the Las Vegas hardcore and metal scene. At every Misericordiam show, expect three things. Enery, singalongs and some of the most brutal dancefloors there is to offer. The near completion on their new EP entitled "Ten Days In Catalina" which features 5 brand new songs of sheer deathmetalcore. You can expect to hear a lot about this band in upcomng months. Misericordiam have played shows with numerous bands; including On Broken Wings, Premonitions Of War, All Shall Perish, Caliban, Bury Your Dead, Animosity, Folsom, Full Blown Chaos, Scars Of Tomorrow and many more

Misericordiam is...

Kody - guitar

David - guitar

Danny Tanner are a grindcore duo from Roselle Park, New Jersey, formed around 2005. They place fast-paced grindcore which, at times, has melodic elements and copious use of television and movie samples. While they play fast, they are not quite up to the speed of powerviolence.

They have recorded and engineered many of their albums themselves, with distribution through Manicidic Records, a local New Jersey grindcore/death metal label. The lyrical content of their songs is mostly political when it's not trying to be comical, showing the band has a strong connection to political dissidence. Many of the songs from their 3 song EP were reworked and added to their full length The Finest Grind. They have appeared on a number of compilation albums with acts such as Semen Across Lips, Repugnant Stench, and Dr. Satan

Christopher Wilson asked me to find the tracks of this band, in fact, this is all that I managed to find (lol more than I expected), I will not describe here where and what I found, the order of the tracks and everything else I did at my own discretion, since there is really no information when and what was released

The first version of itaw was founded in mid 2002...yes..20fucking02..after line up changes blah blah blah finding out our styles and all that bullshit which took ohh....a year plus, we finally go serious. Anyway I'm not gonna write anything that is gonna talk this band up, we like playing intense music, if you are a fan of brutal, intense, ghey music you might like this...

We are a tech metal band and now that we have finally found our sound and what style we can define ourselves with we can tell everyone that wants to give us shit to go fuck themselves. We write music that we WANT to play, you can compare it to whatever you want. We're not here to rip off anything or try to be something we're not. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for sticking with us as we have grown into our own. If you were here from the beginning or if you are just hearing us, hop on the wagon and watch us as we continue to grow with your help AND we will never feed you any bullshit.

Kalibas - Enthusiastic Corruption Of The Common Good (EP/2003)

Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore band from USA [Rochester, New York]

Bandcamp | Metal-Archives

Tracklist:

01. Isolate The Paranoia

02. From Ivory Towers Above The Control Grid

Surging and swelling like a teenage brain tumor going through puberty, alchemetalists Kalibas rise out from the entangling clutches of Rochester's gutter and infects the listening public with their most eccentric yet mature musical statement to date, Enthusiastic Corruption Of The Common Good. Flirting equally with puncturing pirate melody and caustic discordance over the course of the EP's five songs, twin guitars nurture a tremendously technical and distinct spirographic style of stress-addled riffery set to boggle and toggle the controls for the heart of the sun. Featuring an updated lineup, Kalibas has shed the more overt and haphazard "grind" influence apparent on their first full-length, Product Of Hard Living, in favor of superimposed layering and orchestrated maze-like mantras of melody --- techniques which have more in common with recent Gorguts and labelmates Rune as opposed to the gamut of one-dimensional death/grind acts polluting unenlightened eardrums. These five "lessons" seem to romantically crawl down the back of one's neck and settle at the base of the skull, expanding and contracting like an undecided erection patiently waiting to discharge its payload. Enthusiastic Corruption Of The Common Good is a zigzagging showcase of Bermuda triangle mysticism and clown juggling dexterity laughing in your ears, reminding you of the boisterous tickle of shimmering dolphin squeals or of toy soldiers burrowing in your brain matter, obtrusively poking and prodding with their lead bayonets. Integrated, organized, starry-eyed, and misty care of Tinkerbell's sprinkles of pixie dust, the brazen Kalibas have become a clover-leafed magic metal band able to transcend any of the restrictive trappings of extreme music's subgenres, consequently setting them head and shoulders above their contemporaries.
