Telltale Massacre is a melodic metalcore band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in the summer of 2008 by guitarists Ryan Fitzgerald and David Walker, drummer Justin Prendergast, and vocalist Frank Cincotta after a jam session.
Shortly after their formation, they recorded a demo under the name To Carry Blindly at Valiant Studios in Chicopee, MA. Shortly thereafter they were joined by bassist Brett Miller and began playing shows, before eventually changing their name to Telltale Massacre.
After a year of the original lineup, Justin and Frank left the band. Josh Sand played drums in another local band and was invited to fill in, a spot which soon became permanent. They were eventually also joined by vocalist John Carpenter. They began playing more shows and established a loyal local fanbase. They recorded a demo with the new lineup, as well as live performances at Tammany Hall in Worcester, MA, and other venues in New England. They also recorded songs for an EP, but these were never released due to dissatisfaction with the written songs.
In July 2010, John Carpenter left the band. In August, he was replaced by Seth Cheeks, formerly of western MA metallers Darkness Dwells. They played a few shows with the new lineup, but in October outside time constraints forced the band to call it quits.
In the winter of 2011 the band was able to work through busy schedules, and find a way to get Telltale Massacre back together. John Carpenter is back on vocals and the band is currently working on new material and returning to the local venues.

Entering the scene in 2006 with their debut E.P. "Until It All Ends". Havenside became a band that is hard to ignore.
