Despite the band's short, year and a half existence with the current line-up, The Bloodshed Ensemble are no rookies to the Colorado music scene. Formed from members of By The Hand Of Cain, Edge Down, Spiritual Fallout, and Code To Zero, each member has full knowledge of what it takes to accomplish their goals.
In May of 2006, TBE released a 4 song EP entitled "Friends Help You Move, Good Friends Help You Move Bodies" which circulated around denver and surrounding areas with great interest from fans, reviewers, concert venues, and radio stations. Soon, TBE was on shows through Colorado's biggest concert promoters, Soda Jerk Presents, and Food Friends Hardcore. Sometimes even opening for national acts such as Yakuza (prosthetic records), and The Coma Recovery (Failed Experiment Records). Bryan from Louderandfaster.com describes a Bloodshed Ensemble show as "High Fucking Energy" with a "sense of awareness in their performance that exceeds even some major label artists that I have seen in recent years." KBPI, Denver's largest rock/metal/hardcore radio station, soon discovered the music of TBE, and currently keeps them in rotation on the station's late night Metalix. The band thrives on making music that draws people in and keeps them there. Typical TBE songs are made up of heartfelt lyrics, heavy breakdowns, melodic riffs, and intense drums that all come together to form a genre that makes you want to listen again and again. Clearly, The Bloodshed Ensemble is a band you are gonna want to spread the word about!
