Fathom Amity was founded in 2006 with Clay, Eli, Xavier, Sam & Patrick (ex-member) They started slowly but started to get more gigs as they went on playing and writing. During 2007 they played numerous shows around Bendigo. After a while things starting feeling not right and the band wasn't as enthusiastic anymore. So members started not turning up to practise. This lead to a break. Soon they decided it was time for Pat to leave for reasons not to be known. When they thought of who could fill the spot, their first answer was Jake Cowling. Who at the time was just came out of a unsuccesful band, and was great mates with all of the band. When Jake came into the band, he felt as though the band needed a tidy up and a different style to suit the young genoration of metal music listeners. Jake decided to write a new set and leave there old songs behind. With that said, they are still currently writing. From now they have played enough shows to find some more attension within the Bendigo ...
