Fool The World are rising stars of a Perth music scene that is currently attracting attention from across Australia and beyond. With a dynamic sound that is impossible to pigeonhole, Fool The World play a unique blend of melodic emotional metal that is at times brutal, at others beautiful, whilst always remaining energetic.

Forming as a four-piece in late 2001, they played their first gig shortly after. The addition of second guitarist Jeremy in mid 2002 brought with it a more refined and confident sound. After acquiring a new bass player in late 2002, Fool The World began a hectic gigging schedule, and after only five shows became a regular headlining act. Along the way, the band was invited to perform at the Western Australian Music Industry's annual Kiss My WAMI festival, as well as supporting numerous interstate and international bands.

In April 2003, Fool The World went into renowned Perth studio Bergerk! to record the track Torched Skies for the W(A) Grade compilation. The track rapidly became one of the most downloaded songs on the website www.mp3.com, peaking on the charts at number 7 in Australia and number 1 in the Oceania Metal category. Another line-up change in July 2003 brought bassist Dave to the band, resulting in a more melodic and thicker rhythm section.

Fool The World went back into Bergerk! Studios in September and October of 2003, and recorded their five-track debut EP, Avarice, which was mastered at Sovereign Studios. The title track was featured on the internationally-distributed Futile Recordings compilation of up-and-coming Australian bands. Released in early 2004, the Avarice EP has set a new benchmark for Perth music across all genres.

With an average age of only 20, Fool The World are a young talent with a bright future.

Tasso Tsolakis - vocals
