Blast Beats. Breakdowns. Deep Vocals...That's the easiest way to describe Misericordiam. The band formed in late 2004 and features ex members of Without Prayer. They played their first show on February 12th, 2005. They are easily one of the fastest and heaviest bands Las Vegas has to offer. Misericordiam is more along the lines of "deathmetalcore" and have built a big following in the Las Vegas hardcore and metal scene. At every Misericordiam show, expect three things. Danny Tanner are a grindcore duo from Roselle Park, New Jersey, formed around 2005. They place fast-paced grindcore which, at times, has melodic elements and copious use of television and movie samples. While they play fast, they are not quite up to the speed of powerviolence.
They have recorded and engineered many of their albums themselves, with distribution through Manicidic Records, a local New Jersey grindcore/death metal label. The lyrical content of their songs is mostly political when it's not trying to be comical, showing the band has a strong connection to political dissidence. Many of the songs from their 3 song EP were reworked and added to their full length The Finest Grind. They have appeared on a number of compilation albums with acts such as Semen Across Lips, Repugnant Stench, and Dr. Satan

In the spring of 2003 Tyler (then on bass) and Kellyn Moyer (brothers) along with Jon Pease started playing music together with the intent to have fun and make music that they liked. Around early summer Alex Loucas and Jed Bridges, who had been in a band with Kellyn and Jon previously, jumped in the mix. Tyler then moved up to vocals and Jed took over on bass. At this time Blood Stained Sky was formed, even though the name didn't come till later. After writing songs, getting rid of songs, and re-writing songs Blood Stained Sky was finally strong enough to start playing shows. January 2004 they performed at Showcase Theatre in a Showdown. The crowd response was great and they showed everyone a glimpse of what they could do and what they were about. Since then they have been playing shows as often as possible and played with bands like: XDEATHSTARX, This Blessed Hope, Thyne Scabbard and Dogwood.
In December of 2004 Jon Pease decided to leave the band. Replacing Jon was good friend Nate Lopez. Blood Stained Sky is confident in the new line up and know that God will bless them through their music. Blood Stained Sky is a young band and can only get better and they definitely have the potential to do so. As a Christian band they are not afraid to say what they believe and try to represent Jesus Christ in all they do, not just in their music but also in their everyday life.

The Gospel was formed in late 06', early 07' with original guitarist Fleming and vocalist Jakov. Recording right away with the most desperate way possible (Garage Band) was just a start of what was to come. Come April/May The Gospel was in the studio recording there first actual E.P @ A.T. Studio with Chuck Mc Ginnis. Currently working hard on new material and with lots of shows lining up, 09' should be a pretty good year. Hailing from northern Indiana comes a marching brigade of heavy music that is know simply as Remember Arlington. With several influences from the complications of Between the Buried and Me to the catchy riffs from Thursday, Remember Arlington has the ability to cover a wide range of music, drawing in music lovers all across the country. After touring in the summer of 2004 for their first time, the group earned much respect from several record labels, promotion companies, fans, and venues, earning them the "O.K." to speak loud and clear with their music. Only after being a band for 5 months, Remember Arlington recorded their first Ep entitled the "All Will Return to Ashes" Ep. Through the few weeks after it's release on November 13th, 2004, the cd was already being played on several radio stations in the midwest, and sent all over the country. The cd showed much success, but the guys wanted to show the nation their improvement the following month after. Friend of the band, Scott Cline, asked them to record one new song with him in his studio for the holidays. In late December, Remember Arlington was back at it again recording a new song, "Delivered in Carthage". The song will be released around New Years 2005. Remember Arlington continues to show much success in the midwest, playing with acts such as the Chariot, Still Remains, Paria, Across Five Aprils, HeWhoCorrupts, Spoken, and several others. There are no signs of slowing down, there are no sign of sleep. In the upcoming months, the band has a midwest tour booked, and several shows covering their mainland. The support given to Remember Arlington was just a mere dream in the past, and these supporters made it a reality. Thank you soo much.

She The Murderess was formed in 2005 by original members Rich Anthony, Brendan Chambers, Brendan Walsleben, and Dan Cacioppo. The band recorded two demo songs with this line-up and played a handful of local shows with an unstable line-up of second guitarists and bassists. After a few line-up changes and the departure of Brendan Chambers, the band finally settled on a steady line-up featuring the additions of Tim Lachman and Matt Ferri in the winter of 2005/2006. The band recorded a four-song self-titled EP (self released and later reissued by CSC records) with this line-up, spending much of the following summer touring in support of the EP with the band bynomeans. The band then took a break to focus on writing new material and welcomed back Brendan Chambers after the break-up of his band Claret Scare. After playing a few shows with this line-up, Matt Ferri left to focus on his other band, Trasher, and STM welcomed Keith Krupinski (formerly of Trasher and Claret Scare) to the line-up. The band is currently writing a new record and sporadically playing shows as its members focus on school and work full-time, as well as a few other musical endeavours. A new album should be completed by summer of 2008, with release information TBA.

AAHS started in March of 2006. Four of the five members came from the band Burn What's Left which started the summer prior to EA. Those four members being Mike Daily, Dave Caldwell, Bryan Ray and Bob Lease (drums). They were joined on second guitar by Ian Hughes. At the start, Mike was not a part of the project. He joined in May of 2006 after leaving his current band "Behold the Harlot" (then "A Dead Lover's Memoir"). The band starting working on material then settled on the name "Escaping August". The band then finished writing their set and started playing out at the very end of May. The band continued writing and playing shows throughout the summer, keeping very busy while also recording a 2 song demo at Obsidian Sound. The band continued their hard work all the way through February of 2007 then went back to the studio to record their first EP titled "This City Lies in Ruins". Then, about a month after the recording was completed, drummer Bob Lease decided that playing drums for the band had run its course and decided to leave the band. EA then went on to search for a drummer. No more than 2 weeks went by when our friend Jared George came into the jam room with us. After the first session we knew we had exactly what this band needed with Jared. After writing some new material the band decided that "Escaping August" had run its course as well. A new name was needed. One that actually had meaning to the band and made a statement. This is when An American Horror Story was born. After finishing up the Still Flexin' tour and the A.C. Sla-tour with Myrtle Beach act Massacre of the Umbilical Cord, Jared decided to part ways with AAHS. The band then had to search for yet another drummer. Damian Tucker joined AAHS in September 2007 and was with the band until mid-March of 2008. Things just were not working as originally expected. AAHS found their match with drummer Brandon Fitch. Brandon brings a unique fusion of styles to AAHS and is sure to push the musical boundaries of AAHS even further. The band recently recorded a 3-song demo at Sacred Sound Recording Studio in Martins Ferry, Ohio with Mr. Andrew Della Cagna at the helm. The three songs can be found on the AAHS/LADY BINN HILL split.
AAHS disbanded back in May. It's been a rough few months but after some time off, there may just be some vital signs being shown. Nothing is guaranteed, however, but we're just looking on the bright side of the possibility. ;-)

Emerging from a depleting music scene surrounding the city of Chicago in August of 2005, four individuals ranging ages 17-21 compiled a relentless, hard hitting E.P. that was soon to be released by Chicago's The Lost Anthology in February of 2006. After forming by mistake in late August 2005, The Lost Anthology began fusing together their diverse sound when guitarists Nick Nativo and Frank Policicchio joined with drummer Adam Settelmyer and brother Tony Policicchio to compromise a sound influenced by everything from death metal to hardcore to pop-punk. After writing 6 songs in about 2 months, the band headed into Sonic Studios in Oak Lawn, IL to work with Dave Kohut on putting together an E.P. Later released by the band with only 5 songs, Reverie proved to open the eyes of local and regional fans, as well as an indie label Dark Union Industries. After recording their new record "Silence Is Golden" in July 2006 at More Sound Studios in New York (From A Second Story Window, Borrowed Time, Holding Fire etc.) The Lost Anthology returned home after a label dispute and cancelation of a 60 day tour with As Blood Runs Black and The Breathing Process.. After 2 more East Coast and Midwest Tours, they signed with 13 Star Records out of Lancaster, PA in Early 2007 to prepare an April 2007 release of their new record "Silence Is Golden." Plenty of tours, a new music video for the title track "Silence Is Golden".
