Dwelling Madness formed in the late 1980's in Baltimore Maryland in the style of extreme metal with the lineup consisting of Benny DiDonato on drums, Brian Suchy on bass, Anthony Frederick on lead guitar, Gary Daniels on lead guitar and Brian Chandler on vocals.
After years of several lineup changes the band consisted of Joe Roffeld on drums, Mike Stoecker on bass, Eddie Braun on lead guitar, and Gary Daniels on lead guitar and vocals. DM continued on, writing new material, playing many brutal shows, and establishing a local fan base.
Years later, the band eventually split up from burning out the local scene due to lack of contacts, job related problems, and a poorly produced demo. Going our separate ways while staying in touch, lead guitarist Gary Daniels joined local recording artist's Pessimist while drummer Joe Roffeld joined locals Forgotten Souls. Pessimist, eventually needing another drummer brought Joe Roffeld into the lineup.
After several months, realizing where our hearts really were, we decided to go back Home, resurrecting the lineup of Joe Roffeld on Drums, Eddie Braun on lead guitar, Gary Daniels on lead guitar and vocals, and bringing Eric Little (also formally of Pessimist) on bass and vocals.
In late 2000, with the lineup complete, DM is again writing new material in the style of extreme death metal with hints of black metal and grind in the mix. With our attitude, dedication, and drive intact, DM will continue to provide the underground with it's hellish, technical death metal assault.
